Story

The world premiere of the film took place on October 12, 2019 at the 35th Warsaw Film Festival as part of the "1-2" competition program ("Competition of the first and second feature films of young directors"), where the film received a Special Jury Mention. In Ukraine, the film was presented on August 22, 2020, as part of the out-of-competition program of the 49th Kyiv International Film Festival "Youth". The film was released in Ukrainian limited release on September 3, 2020, the distributor is Arthouse Traffic.

The film tells the story of Nina, a teacher of the Ukrainian language, who cannot leave occupied Luhansk because of her husband's work, and Andrii, a seventeen-year-old student who was left an orphan as a result of the war and tries to remind Ukraine that he still exists. The plot is based on the stories of real people from the occupied territories in eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

Actors: Marina Koshkina, Daniyil Kamenskyi, Vasyl Kuharskyi, Oleksiy Gorbunov, Anastasia Khalpahchi-Grinberg, Maria Kulikovska.

One of the roles in the film is played by the famous Ukrainian artist and sculptor Maria Kulikovska, who at the beginning of the film makes her own art performance and shooting her sculptures, thereby repeating the true story that took place at the "Izoyatsia" plant in Donetsk in 2014.
